THE fine PRINT: This site came about as a result of my wanting my mother-in-law's estate to be put into the hands of people who will care about the items. I am not out to make a buck and enjoy corresponding with my customers. I will make every effort to make you happy. I completely support the auction format because it puts items into the hands of the one who wants it the most. If you are having "sour grapes" on shipping, read on below. I do not deal in high-volume stuff. I will disclose everything I know, even if it sounds horrible because I would rather you be pleasantly surprised than disppointed. However, all items are sold as-is-without warranty unless specifued otherwise in the description of the item. If I make a false claim it is inadvertent (my eyes are not the best) and will refund your price AND your shipping costs to return the item to me. ON SHIPPING FEE: I can snipe with the best of you and love those .99 cent deals, but being seller has been an eye opener. Photos sell the items so I needed an expensive camera. Listings cost me at LEAST $1.00 each, and more is taken when the item sells. Then Paypal gets its cut. Now let's talk time: I shoot photos, edit them, research the item (this can take days in some cases), write the description (on mostly one of a kind items), email with bidders, watch the auctions (obsessively...bad as the stock market), send invoices, scrounge up shipping supplies, print labels, pack the item, and notify the postman. Finally, t is feedback. Whew! This is why t is a shipping and handling fee, because otherwise I am actually paying to send the item to you. The fee is $2-10.00 and posted clearly in each listing. It is included in the total shipping. The fee depends on the item's size and fagility, and amount of time and effort it has taken to get it to you. T is no profit in it. ON SHIPPING CHOICES: Please respect my need to use priority mail. I have a disability and no car. USPS will not pick up first class mail at the door, and t is no way for me to track first class mail. If you cannot understand this, t are a bazillion other sellers out t, don't choose me and then give me bad feedback for doing things the only way I can, OK? THANKS for understanding! TO INTERNATIONAL BUYERS: First let me apologize. I just can't do it. Don't know the rules, need to keep it simple, have been burned...it is me....really. Not you. is what you do. Get a friend in the US who has verified Paypal make the purchase for you and have the item sent to them. Then get it form them. Too many frauds are ruining it for you good folks. Like people who abuse pain drugs (personal peeve...I digress). PAYPAL: Don't whine, just get a PAYPAL account. It is free and easy for buyers. If I have to wait too long for payment I get confoosed and I have three other jobs in addition to this one. I'm a human bean too. ...
