Close Out Sale!~ 20 Pound Boxes Of California Paydirt ~ Update 4/7/2010: Nugget and I will be leaving in about 10 days. We are selling off all the paydirt that we have so we can lighten our load and make room for our Idaho paydirt. If you want some of this unique and top quality California paydirt now is the time to get it. This is the bottom of the barrel folks (In gold mining that's good!) and it includes some of the high grade dirt we pulled from the Glory Hole. We won't be back until next winter. We'll be having 2 auctions a day until it's gone. Each auction will start at 99 cents. T could be anyw from an 8th of a gram to over a gram of natural gold in each 20 pound box. because if the selling price is over $30 I'll throw in an additional 1/4 of a gram. If the selling price is over $50 I'll throw in an additional half of a gram. The Spanish were the first to discover the Cargo Muchacho gold back in 1780. That was before California was even established. "Cargo Muchacho" means Loaded Boy. Legend has it that two Spanish boys discovered gold and came back to their camp with their pockets full of gold. T are many gold mines in and around the Cargo Muchacho Mountains including the American Girl Mine, the Golden Cross Mine, the Hedges and Tumco Mines, the Padre Madre Mine and the Golden Bee. In 1914, Tumco was the 2nd largest gold mine in the US but the gold produced at the American Girl Mine eventually surpassed them all. We have taken many samples from this area and tested them for gold. Last year, we found several areas which contained a promising amount of gold and finally came upon some exposed bedrock which held some nice gold and other heavy minerals. We had lots of happy customers last year and we expect this year to be even better. We will continue digging at this spot again this year. People buy gold mining concentrates from us because they know what they are getting. Most buy them to pan out the gold but others buy them to test their mining equipment whether it is a trommel, highbanker, sluice, dredge, recirculating sluice, mini sluice, blue bowl, shaker table, drywasher or automatic panning wheel like the Desert Fox or Miner's Wheel. Regardless of how you are going to get the gold out, we hope you will be very pleased with what is in our concentrates. We add some gold so nobody gets skunked but everyone stands the same chance of finding some nice pickers or a nugget because we do not go through the paydirt before we ship it out. Placer gold occurs in many areas in Arizona, California, Idaho and Nevada. In some places a large reserve of placer gold still exists but the lack of a permanent water supply for conventional placer mining operations requires the use of expensive dry or semidry concentrating methods to recover the gold. That is why the gold is still We seek out those places and are continually checking them for gold. Panning is the last step and we save that for you. Gold panning is a great indoor or outdoor recreation and fun for young and old. It is fairly easy to learn how to pan for gold but we recommend that you classify your material first and then pan over something that will catch any gold you accidentally wash out of the pan.
