This Raleigh saddle is modeled after the finest European saddles and is made by skilled craftsmen trained in the English tradition. A saddle that is value priced, practical, and durable for everyday use as well as having the quality style and appearance needed for the showring. This little saddle features the close contact style seat that's hard to find in an inexpensive child's saddle. Usually you can only find the close contact styling in saddles costing over 3 times as much! So what are the advantages to the close contact seat? Your child learns proper balance and position from the beginning when they start out in a close contact saddle. The position that the judges are looking for...even in lead line classes! Later, when your child moves up to a larger close contact saddle and more advanced work, he won't be disadvantaged by having to learn a whole new position and balance. The slightly deeper seat and leather padded knee rolls provide a very "grippy" comfortable position and the additional feel of security to the little rider. The regular width tree is suitable for most ponies unless they are especially wide over their back. This saddle is only offered in the regular width tree, but other seat sizes ( 14", 15", 16 1/2") are available in my eBay store. We also offer quality pony bridles, bits, saddle pads, safety stirrups, stirrup leathers and girths to compliment this saddle. They are sold individually or in the saddle completer package in my eBay store. I will be happy to assist you in choosing the proper sizes for your child and pony. Save postage by having the saddle and the accessories ship together! Don't pay your invoice until your package is complete if you want all the items to ship together and take advantage of this discount. ADDITIONAL INFORMATION: SHIPPING - Most orders ship out same or next day!! Speed of shipping depends on stock availability at the time your order comes in. We try to keep the different styles, colors and sizes in stock as best we can. If your choice is not in the stockroom, we usually only need a few extra days for it to be available as we have regular orders coming from manufactures and suppliers. I may have the item drop-shipped to you if it will get to you faster. When time is a factor, email me for availability.
