Here is an exquisite Clovis point. This is an exact reproductions of the original stone blade cast in a durable colored resin. Resin is basically a plastic and captures every detail of the original artifact. The piece measures 3 7/8 inches long. The detail is stunning. A true work of art. History: The Clovis point is recognized as the earliest known point type in the hemisphere. Most examples are fluted on both sides. They exhibit a ground concave base and were used as both knives and spearheads. They date to the Early Paleo Period 11,500 - 10,600 B.P.
