F or sale Very Rare " CLOWN" etched in marble stone 8.25" by 5.25" and on top of the barn wood of 10" by 7.25" in good condition. The "CLOWN" has eyes etched and painted in blue color, nose etched and painted red with beard etched and painted in black. The "CLOWN" is smiling with a hat on his head and is signed by " Brother Matthew OSF" with a message " Smile - God Loves You " Brother Matthew O.S.F. formerly known as John Gallagher of Morristown, New Jersey who entered Franciscan order in 1956. He served in the army during War World II. After this he went to the Newark School of Fine Arts. He then opened a religious book store and art studio where he taught his beloved handicapped. It was through a cerebral palsy student that he found his love for the Franciscan order and joined in 1956. he lived in Eureka, Missouri where he taught many mediums of art. He passed away in 2007.
