Two Men Standing in Snow is an original pencil and ink drawing by the American artist, Clyde Singer (1908-1999). It is signed and dated Jan 28, 1977 in the lower right and titled in the lower left. Singer has perfectly captured the posture and expression of two men meeting each other on a cold day. The art is 7 1/4 x 6 1/2 inches. It is framed under glass with a single gray mat. The wood frame has a black finish. The frame is 12 1/2 x 11 inches. This appears to be in very good condition. It has not been examined out of the frame. Clyde Singer became known for his regionalist paintings in oil and watercolor of people at carnivals, standing in bars, on windy street corners, celebrating holidays, or looking at pictures in a gallery. His art is in the collection of the Butler Institute of American Art, OH; Canton Museum of Art, OH; Columbus Museum of Art, OH; Massillon Museum, OH; Pennsylvania Academy of Fine Arts, PA; San Diego Museum of Art, CA and others.
