I have remade this Breyer cutting cow into a Brahma crossbred in a real dark brindle color with white markings. The logo was removed, seams sanded, stripped, ears and tail removed. THEN I resculpted larger ears more like this type of cross and sculpted a tail (reinforced with wire) that is in a more realistic position than the original w it is flat against the cow. I sculpted a slight hump on the shoulder, added a little to the topline to bulk it up and added dewlap from the bottom jaw down along the underline. I have included a couple of close up photos w I hope it shows his subtle brindle coloring as he looks black in some of the photos. He has a lot of expression with his eyes, which are glossed, looking in the direction he is turning. He was sealed with a satin sealer followed by a layer of Testor's Dull Cote. Both eyes and the nose are glossed. I have two of these custom calves myself, one this body color and one black, and have NANed my cutting and reined cowhorses with them multiple times. Like mine, this one is branded with our cattle brand, the slash v, and signed and dated on the underside. I have done about a dozen of these calves and no two are the same color/pattern.
