This is a solid cast resin tile "medallion" that was sculpted by Rebecca Turner in 2007. This is just an awesome piece and definitely one of the funnest tiles I have painted so far. The horse literally just pops out of it! It measures about 4" x 4". Would be a stunning piece to place in a small holder or even frame and place on the wall! He was painted by me, Lisa Bickford, of 3B Designs. I painted this using a combination of pastels, airbrushing, and hand detailing. He was first body colored to a softly dappled black (t are dapples on what would be the horses barrel). After the horse was colored, he was hand detailed with a star and snip on his nose. Then back to the studio for eyes and pastelling. He was pastelled with muzzle shading on his snip, nostril pinking, and the background to a rich blue. Sealed in layers and layers of matte finish. His eyes and nostrils are glossed as well. PAYMENT: Due within 10 days of the auction's end. Money orders and checks accepted. Checks will cause a delay in shipping.
