This is one hot new release! Meet "Memphis Belle"! This horse is was sculpted by Trish Forsyth (Canadian model horse sculptor and hobbiest) and is one of the hottest new things on the market. This horse is full of elegance and beauty. This is a mare (FINALLY - someone who sculpted a horse it's NOT a stallion!) and full of expression. She is traditional scale and hollow cast. She is not permanently attached to her base but she does require it to stand. Be sure to ready about the details of the base below. This resin is a one-mold release and t will be around 70 pieces cast (depending on how long the mold holds up).
This horse was painted by me, Lisa Bickford of 3B Designs, into what some coin as my "signature chestnut". She's a very soft and almost velvet-like light chestnut. She has oodles of dapples on her barrel, creeping under belly; haunches; and neck. She has a slightly darker topline over her shoulders and around her rump (as some chestnuts will do). This color is very striking on this mare and gives her that true "warmblood" appearance. She also sports a flaxen mane and tail. Once the body color was done, let the hand detailing begin! Her hooves were colored using pastels, as well as her muzzle and nostrils. Her white markings are done in acrylics by hand as well and she has multicolored eyes.
I didn't finish the base on this gal because I know that everyone will likely use her differently so I will let the winning bidder decide how they want the base. You can choose from:
1. Painted (you tell me the color
2. Flocked with bright green "grass" with flowers
3. Flocked with dried and green grass color (a bit more "toned down" than #2) with flowers

SHIPPING: Add $12 for UPS insured shipping to the lower 48 states (this horse is big ). International shipping is $45 via airmail insured. International bidders are welcomed on all of my auctions. If you see the 3B Designs logo at the top of your winning auctions, I will combine shipping (make note - I list for numerous other people so the logo is important). International customers - true paid value must be declared on the customs forms as this is the law. As promised... she is in tack!!! The tack is NOT for sale or included with the horse.
