CNAC - China National Aviation Corp, ticket holder envelope for May 23rd 1941 flight from Hong Kong to Rangoon in name of Mr Charles Thomas : "Passengers are requested to send their baggage to ........Connaught Road to be weighed by 3.00pm on May 23rd" and "please arrive at Kai Tak Airport at 2.00am May 24th 1941" so that was an early start. Good used condition, so its not going to be perfect as he's put his tickets in and taken them out again, and it is 72 years old, plus a bit of toning on the edges as well! I HAVE NOT SEEN ONE OF THESE IN 50 YEARS OF COLLECTING, NOR IN NUMEROUS DISPLAYS BY THE HONG KONG STUDY CIRCLE. A MUST FOR YOUR DISPLAY OF HONG KONG AIRMAILS. The scanner picks up variations in colour of the item, which are not apparent to the naked eye - the colour is even all over, not as seen on the scan (except for the edge toning), which also exaggerates any yellow or grey in the paper and any folds, creases and bends.
