Cobb~DeKalb~Fulton Counties NEW! 69-Page BOOKLET Early days in the Atlanta, Georgia, area, including Cobb, DeKalb and Fulton Counties, are recalled through a mixture of colorful tales and factual data in this 69-Page spiral-bound booklet reprinted from two rare books: the Rev. George White's Historical Collections of Georgia and Georgia, a Guide to Its Towns and Countryside , a WPA publication. The booklet is printed on 60# paper with the print enlarged for easier reading. A sheet of vinyl protects the 3-color front cover. Past and/or present area communities include: ( Not necessarily mentioned in the booklet .) Cobb: Acworth, Austell (part), Clarkdale, Kennesaw, Mableton, Marietta, Powder Springs, Smyrna DeKalb: Atlanta (part), Avondale Estates, Chamblee, Clarkston, Decatur, Doraville, Lithonia, Pine Lake, Redan, Scottdale, Stone Mountain, Tucker Fulton: Alpharetta, Atlanta (part), College Park (part), Dunwoody, East Point, Fairburn, Hapeville, Mountain Park (part), Palmetto (part), Red Oak, Rosewell (formerly in Cobb Co.), Sandy Springs, Union City Campbell (no longer a separate county): Campbellton Excerpts from White's book covers the development of this area until shortly before its publication date of 1854.
