Coca Cola 50th Anniversary Gold Bottle Coke '49 Harrell 2 I am selling my entire collection of bottles over the next few weeks. Please check back often for lots of rare and hard to find bottles. You are bidding on the bottle second from the left number "2" as shown in the pictures ONLY. The other three bottles are up on other auctions. This auction is for a 50th Anniversary (1899-1949) Coca Cola Bottle presented to Olin J. Harrell. Not sure what Bottling Company this was for. Such bottles were used as placecards at the celebration banquet and typically only one each was produced for each attendee. The "window" of the bottle has the following "THE COCA COLA BOTTLING COMPANY 1899 50TH YEAR 1949 PRESENTED TO OLIN J. HARRELL". The name is signed by hand as these are one of a kind bottles. The Pat. D-105529 bottle is in very good shape with minor wear on the gold as visible in the pictures. No city name listed on the bottom of the bottle. It is still about 1/2 full with the original gold cap. The cap is rusted on the top. ONE OF A KIND!!! PLEASE OPEN AND LOOK AT ALL PICTURES FOR A BETTER IDEA OF CONDITION. Low opening bid with NO reserve. Winner pays $8 S&H.
