WORLD WAR 2 ERA NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC COCA COLA ADS I don't know which is more fascinating -- the articles inside the magazine or the Coke ads on the back covers. And then t are the other ads within the pages. T are lots of photos, both black and white and color ones, taken during the war and t are many articles dealing with different aspects and locations of the war. The magazines aren't perfect, but they're not bad either. The Coke ads are in overall good condition but may have a crease or a little dinginess around the edge. One is missing the cover. The dark spots you see within the red Coke circle are continents, like a red earth. I thought it was dirt, at first. One of the ads shows soldiers in Panama, one in Italy, one with sailors, one in Newfoundland, one with the Chinese, one on the Admiralty Isles, one on an airfield in the Pacific, and one with soldiers and a square Coca Cola logo with a nickel price. The caption on the front of several of them says "Buy U.S. War Savings Bonds and Stamps." T are no inserted maps or fold-out ones in the magazines. T are some maps on the pages. I have to repeat how fascinating the ads, photos and articles are in these magazines. These magazines do a great job of representing history. My items come from a smoke-free, animal-free home. Instructions to bidders: I am not an expert on anything, so study my pictures carefully. If you have 2 or more negatives in the last 6 months, please do not bid. If you have questions, click on, "If you have a question" on this page. Don't hesitate to ask for more pictures. I want happy buyers. Shipping costs may be higher for Alaska, Hawaii or Puerto Rico residents. International bidders: Please do not pay until you receive an invoice from me. If you do, the amount of postage automatically figured by ebay will be incorrect, almost always much higher. I accept bids from foreign buyers who are willing to pay through PayPal and pay all shipping costs plus a $1 handling fee. Please allow a few extra days for shipping if you win this auction. When postal rates increased, so did the postal transit times. Instructions to the winner: Payment is expected within 7 days. Will accept PayPal or a money order. Will accept a check UP TO $50.00 if buyer has 25+ positive feedbacks with no negative feedback relating to payment. Otherwise paypal payment or a money order is required. I offer insurance and am offering confirmation for an additional 55 cents. If you choose not to purchase either, please do not ask me to refund payment for items not received or received damaged by the post office. However, I have an excellent shipping record. Please allow a few days longer for 1st class and parcel post shipments. When the postal rates increased, so did transit times. Feedback: Before leaving low feedback regarding shipping time, please check the postmark. Before leaving low feedback regarding shipping and handling, please consider the cost of the bubble wrap and foam peanuts/popcorn. They are priced like gold. Also check to see if I purchased confirmation. Most bidders consider the cost of shipping when they determine the maximum they will bid. Also consider that some sellers charge a penny for the item and $20 to ship. Those are the ones who deserve low scores for shipping costs. Before leaving low feedback regarding communication, please check your junk mail to see if you've overlooked a message. Before leaving low feedback regarding the description, please consider that I am not an expert on anything. I just try to find things I think people will like. My hope is that viewers will ask questions or for more pictures if t are any doubts.
