You are bidding on one authentic, porcelain and metal Coca-Cola sign, which I believe (and was told) is from 1950. This sign came from the attic of an old home, in the historic district of St.Charles, Missouri ( / ). It was found by a friend of ours when he was cleaning out the attic of one of the old buildings he owned. I had the sign in my possesion for years, but sadly; its just been hidden away in storage for years. I would rather it go to a good home w someone would appreciate it, and display it; rather than just have it stored away. :-( It is slightly yellowed, and has a few knicks on it; but it's perfectly straight/flat, and would hang perfectly. T is a small designation on the bottom right corner that says 'A-M 3-50'. The sign measures approximately 41" x 16".

The only information, or other signs like it I could find show it with a red coke button. So I'm not sure what it's worth, or if it was intended to go with another sign; but it displays very nicely by itself. The metal sign itself is very thick gauge, and is very rigid. The edges are stamped curves, which add a nice appearance, and also offer rigidity. I would rate the overall condition as a 7 on a scale of 1-10. Just because it has a few knicks in it, and it's a bit yellowed. But overall, it's a VERY cool piece .

It might be worth mentioning. I noticed in one of the spots w t's a small knick, the actual, original color of the sign, is a very brilliant, vibrant, pure white. I'm not sure if anyone knows how to properly clean the sign without damaging it. But if so, it appears this sign can be restored to it's original beauty. :-)

I only wiped it down with warm water, in fear of damaging the sign. So, possibly a stronger cleaner may be able to be used to clean things up a bit. :-)
