Coca Cola Temprite Metal Picnic Cooler VINTAGE - This is an ORIGINAL Coca Cola Temprite Junior Cooler. The front and back of the cooler read exactly the same:

This Coca-Cola cooler features chrome corners on the top edge, and what I think is a chrome handle. T is a built in bottle opener on the side. I'm not sure what it is made of- my research tells me they were made of steel and/or aluminum back then, but I do know it is very sturdy and heavy, and has withstood time for over 50 years. It is in very good condition considering the age. The pictures will speak for themselves. The lid has a sturdy handle- the handle being attached by screws in each corner, however, one of the screws in the handle corner is missing (see picture) - but this does not detach from the stability and sturdiness of the handle. I wiggled the handle and it does not move or budge still. The top of the cooler has a lip all the way around the edge, and the lid's edge grooves settle it tightly onto the top lip of the edge of the cooler- Wow, they really knew how to make something fit well in those days. The dimensions of the cooler without the lid are about 12" high, 11.5" wide across the front and back, and app. 9" wide on the sides. The lid itself is about 11" by 8.5", and about 1.75" high. Everything that the company attached to the cooler such as bottle opener, handle, lid are all very tight, steady, and snug. This is a genuine, original example of well-made products that were made by companies such as this back in the day. Check out the pictures- it comes as shown.
