This auction is for the extremely hard to obtain Code 3 Collectibles Signature Edition die cast replica of Luke Skywalker's X-Wing Star fighter as seen in Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope. This has a plaque signed by Mark HamilI . I am the original owner of this replica, number 0449 of 1,000 made. I am not sure but I have heard Code 3 never completed the run of Signature Edition fighters (again, this is only speculation). Your replica features details all scaled from the original X-wing model, including removable interior detailed panels as well as landing gear and a removable R2-D2 unit. The X-wing is composed of over 300 parts and has several movable parts and removable panels that expose the cockpit, hyperdrive and engine of this powerful ship. Included with your model is a removable R2-D2 unit as seen in the Star Wars sagas. The X-wing practically takes to flight with opening and closing wings allowing you to display it in attack mode or put the landing skids and boarding ladder on for static display . Its wing span is over 11" and the model itself is 1/38 scale. Along with your model of the X-wing you will receive a Rebel Alliance patch, panel storage box (including a magnetic panel removal tool) a specially made display base with pewter nameplate, Signature Edition plaque, Certificate of Authenticity with Rebel Alliance patch, and ownerâe(tm)s manual. As a bonus, I have included a bust of Luke that fits neatly in the cockpit. You wonâe(tm)t find this anyw else, as the fighter originally comes with no pilot! This compelling showpiece is custom painted to emphasize its rich detail, from the weathering effect of the exhaust fumes to the distinctive Red Five paint scheme. This die cast replica of the X-wing star fighter was molded based on the original models and photos from the Lucasfilm archives. The X-Wing comes with a stand to display it in flight mode. Your fighter is in mint condition and has been stored in my smoke free home since purchase. The box is in excellent condition and includes all packing material. I accept PayPal only.
