is a new, never used Cohiba humidor. I obtained it as a result of a triple
mistake of an order I placed some time ago. They offered the humidor at $250
but if you purchase two select boxes of cigars you get the humidor for $150. I
placed the order and when delivered I discovered two (2) humidors instead and
two boxes of the wrong cigar. They charged me $250 for the humidor and also
the cost of the cigars which were OK but not what I ordered. At any rate, it
appeared too complicated to straighten out so I am selling one of the humidors
on ebay.
It is quite nice with Spanish cedar drawers and a beautiful lacquered finish on
the exterior. It stands 20 inches tall and 12 inches deep and 12 inches wide.
The inside dimensions of the 7 drawers are 7 1/2 deep and 8 1/2 wide. Each
drawer has a removeable tube that you can fill with liquid to humidify the box.
T is a humidity indicator in the center drawer. I don't think it really is all
that accurate as the one I have never seems to work right. It's just t for
looks is all I can assume.
I noticed some shipping damage to the rear left corner of the top lid. It is
a small cracking of the lacquer when it apparently got bumped. It would be
hardly noticeable as it's in the back. A little finger nail polish of the right color
should sort it out. I am putting a modest "buy it now" offer that I figured would
have me about break even. It is well boxed (double boxed) with foam rubber
padding that certainly is far superior to the box I received it in. Insurance is
required. The parcel weighs 40 lbs and you pay only postage/insurance fees.
