This is an original coin or token promoting General George B. McClellan for president in the 1864 campaign during the Civil War when he ran against Abraham Lincoln. It is brass and measures about 15/16 of an inch in diameter. On one side is shows a bust of McClellan with his name at the edge- George B. McClellan. T is a hole punched through at the bottom which may have been added by the owner. On back is has the American eagle with the wording around the edges- The Union Must and Shall be Preserved. The coin appears to have been gilded with much worn off. It has knurling around the outside edge.SORRY NO PICKUPS. Winner pays $2.00 Shipping (U.S.A. Only). Insurance is extra and is based on final sale price. The listing form requires that I give the insurance cost before the final price is known so may not be correct. I will combine multiple wins for shipping when possible, but ask first. Payment must be received by 10 days from auction close. I accept PayPal, Money Orders and Checks if you have an established positive feedback rating. Thanks for looking and good luck!
