This auction is for a 1950's round Coke thermometer. It is 12 inches in diameter, with a metal inner face, metal outer ring, and a clear convex or bubble glass outer face. It is overall in very good condition and clean. The inner face has a small pencil point dent at the outer edge between the "30" and "40" degree marks, a small dull spot (approximately nickel size) just to the right of "Cola", and a slight hint of rust/discoloration for about 4 inches at the very bottom inside edge. All of these imperfections are minor in my opinion, however, I wanted to make note of them as they do not all stand out in the pictures. The white areas or spots in the pictures are camera or light reflections and are not spots on the thermometer face. The face otherwise has good color and is completely readable. It is marked "495A MADE IN USA" at the bottom center. The back appears to have been painted, however, it is a very nice looking, uniform light gray color with no obvious painting defects such as dirt, blotches, runs, or overspray. The outer ring has a smooth shiny finish with no bends or dents. The glass face has a couple of tiny nicks and scratches that you have to look for to even see.
