Up for auction is the Walt Disney World 15th Anniversary Coca-Cola Framed Pin Set of 60 Pins! T is much confusion about the origin of this massive pin set. It was made 1986 by the Coca-Coal Company to celebrate the 15th Anniversary / Birthday of the opening of Walt Disney World and each pin was limited to 1000. It is often mistakenly described (including on PinPics) as being a Cast Member Exclusive. My understanding is that it was actually produced by Coca-Cola to be purchased by their distributors and bottlers to be presented as gifts to their large customers. They could either purchase the large frame set of sixty pins or smaller theme based sets of eights pins. Not surprisingly the program was a complete flop! The remaining sets were purchased by a Disneyana collector who proceeded to sell the sets as Disney Conventions and to various flea markets and antique stores around the country. The dimensions of the frame are approximately 26"W x 22 1/2"H x 1" deep. See the pictures for all the wonderful characters that come in this set!
