Up for bid from my 20 year personal collection of Coca Cola items is this Westinghouse Salesmanâe(tm)s Sample Ice Cooler Chest . Dated to circa 1940, it was introduced to the sales force at Cokeâe(tm)s 1939 annual convention. Built by Kay Distributors in New York (see tag on underside of cooler box), it measures 12 1⁄4âe wide by 7âe deep by 10âe high and came in only one size. It also came with a set of âeoeBusiness Builderâe books that hung from rings on the inside of the lids. Included is a set of âeoeBusiness Builderâe book copies from a set of originals. The cooler is constructed of steel painted Coke red with white embossed letters. It has a galvanized lined steel interior ice box. The condition is very good to excellent with no dings or dents showing normal surface wear. I have owned a number of these coolers over the years and rank this as one of the nicest. Please look at photos provided for condition and do not hesitate to ask any question you might have. Should you be the lucky winning bidder, I will carefully wrap to insure safe delivery.
