This is the Gurkha Kukri, a heavy duty knife made by Cold Steel. The cool thing about this knife is the way it is weighted. The spine of the blade is over 1/4" wide, making the top of the knife the heaviest part. This allows you to have powerful weight driven swings or blows with very little effort on your part. Another helping feature is the fact that the blade is much wider near the tip of the knife. This drives the balance closer to the tip. These two special features make it so that the weight and balance of the blade do the most of the work for you!! This knife has a 12" SK-5 high carbon blade coated with a black epoxy powder finish, textured Kraton handle with lanyard hole and thick pommel (for grip), and comes complete with a Secure-Ex belt sheath.
