Hello everyone! I have here an ultra rare Cold Steel MTC kukri! 'MTC' stands for "Mini Terrain Chopper." This knife has got to be one of the rarest knives Cold Steel has ever manufactured! I mean, seriously, how many times have you seen this one come up on ebay? This is the only kukri that Cold Steel produced with a clip point on it. It dates to the early 1990's and was also discontinued in the early 1990's. It is made of "US Premium High Carbon," which was supposedly comparable to the legendary Carbon V steel. This knife is used as you can tell from the pics, but it is still very sharp and it excellent condition for its age. The clip point is also sharpened! I would very much like to keep this knife, but unfortunately, times are hard right now :(. Here is some info I have borrowed from the Cold Steel forums: MTC Kukri #35MT (Mini Terrain Chopper) Introduced: Early 1990's Discontinued: early 1990's Blade: 10" Overall: 15" Blade Thickness: 1/8" Weight: 14 oz. Sheath: Cordura Steel: US Premium High Carbon Blade Markings: Left: Special Projects Cold Steel U.S.A. Right: none Special Notes: This is the only kukri made by cold steel that has a clip point(which could then be argued that it is not a true kukri...) All other Cold Steel kukri follow the traditional kukri design with the greatly downward blade curvature and a thick belly.
