Offering for sale a North Carolina arts and crafts matte green glaze Rebecca pitcher floor vase. This piece is no doubt made by one of the Cole potters of the central piedmont. It is extremely well turned and having thin wall construction I would guess maybe even Nell Cole Graves made it at her father's J B Cole pottery shop. This piece makes a striking statement, measuring 21" tall tall and would make a great addition to any NC or arts and crafts pottery collection. The matte green glaze has a light crystaline appearance and the best part is it's excellent condition. The only item I would mention is a 1/8" glaze flake on the bottom edge of the foot that I show in my photos. This glaze, along with chrome red, is rarely seen in such good condition. I would be happy to arrange pick up within a 50 mile radius of Cary, N.C. to save the buyer shipping costs. It is being offered with no reserve and please email with any questions.
