This is a photo scrapbook from the Otto Schieman collection that has photo or printed material from 21 different circuses . Some circuses are represented by one ticket or one photo on a page others with several pages. Cole & Walters Circus has 5 tickets and 41 6" x 3 1/2" photos taken 1950 in Hugo. Bailey Bros . has 4 pages of ads, tickets, etc. and 18 4 1/2" x 2 3/4" photos from Logansport, IN in 1944. And there are 5 8" x 10" exceptional quality performer photos from 1948. There is a 3 page handwritten letter signed by Dolly Jacobs when she was on Bailey Bros. Other circuses represented are Bud E Anderson,Camel Bros Wild Animal Circus, M. L. Clark, , Clyde Bros., Cooper Bros. Shows, King & Franklin, Zallee Bros., Adams Bros., James M Cole, Barr Bros.( 1946 seasons route), plus another 9 circuses . Photos are mostly from 1940's or 1950. Some of the photos need new corner holders since some are missing or loose. But, everything is intact. There are 76 pages with something on them and 18 blank pages. It is difficult to discribe all of the variations in the 55 pieces of printed paper and the 81 photos for size and content. View the attached photos for examples.
