Coleman Quick Lite Burner Flood Lamp - lantern Description: Coleman Burner Flood light Another unique and interesting creation from Wounded Dog Lampworks in Burlington Wisconsin.I had always been fascinated by the Tilley floodlamps and decided that some day I would try my hand at constructing one. The main area of concern was what to use as the flood light housing.Well a few months ago while browsing ebay I say a listing for an antique acetylene head light for some old car, and knew that was the answer!!I fitted it with a quick lite burner, and used the font from an old Turner Brassworks smelter pot.The lense is in good condition, the reflector does have a crack, but the metal retaining clip keeps it together just fine.Visually this is an extremely impressive piece! Its big and shiney!!IT gives off about the same amount of light as a regular quick lite table lamp, but it is all focused in one direction, and does a nice job of illumination.Questions?? just ask!
