Here for your consideration is a 3-dimensional, unusual and very rare stamped and riveted Aluminum Alloy Delta Wing Model Aircraft made during the Early Fifties called the Super Sonicraft LG-515, manufactured by Ludington-Griswold, INC. of Saybrook, Conn. The design was influenced by Jack Northrop of Northrop Aviation pioneering development of the "Flying Wing" design of the early 1940's. Approximate wing span is 15 1/2 inch and fuselage lenght is approximately 9 3/4 inch. The front bottom of the fuselage has a metal hook installed to have been used in conjuntion with a sling shot or spring loaded device for launching the Super Sonicraft LG-515 into flight mode.Everything is straight with no major dings or dents. Aluminum surface is ever so lightly/slightly tarnished, but can be buffed out with an aluminum airplane polish wax. Painted areas have a few minor scratches here and there, but nothing to be concerned about considering it's age of approximately of 62 years. Please refer to photos that I have provided for your inspection. This Delta wing Aluminum Model had been made in very limited numbers. I cannot impress on you how rare and valuable this item will become in the near future. If you have noticed, NASA and the US MILITARY have revisited the Delta/ Flying Wing/ B1 Bomber Design for it's Aerodynamic Efficiency and Reduced Radar
