UP FOR YOUR CONSIDERATION IS A VERY WELL LOOKED AFTER FINNISH SOLID SILVER SPOON, WHICH LOOKS TO ME LIKE A WEDDING SPOON. IT HAS AN INITIAL ENGREAVING E & P T AT THE FRONT TOP END OF THE HANDLE. THE REVERSE IS DATED 22/8.48. IT IS HALLMAKED AS KK O/Y H:RU MER. AND HAS A CIRCLE SIGN. UNFORTUNATELY I CANNOT SEE WHAT IT IS. THE SPOON WAS VALUED BY ANTIQUES ROADSHOW AT WIMBLEDON TENNIS CLUB 25/08/11 AT £30.00. A NEW SPOON LIKE THIS COSTS AROUND £90.00. It is pre-owned and, in spite of the age, in good condition showing only fine age wearing, with no chips or stains.
