A Private collection of Hopi Pottery that was collected in the late 60's and early 70's. It is in excellent condition retaining what appears to be completely original paint. Large Red-ware by Ethel YouvellaTewa, Sand Clan, Tewa Village/PolaccaETHEL YOUVELLA has been making pottery for almost seventy years. Ethel learned pottery making from her motherâe(tm)s mother, Lela Augahi. Grace Chapella taught her how to make red-ware pottery.
