You may want to consider bidding on this collection of 10 antique bisque dolls. Eight of them are incised Made in Japan or Japan. The Kewpie and the doll with the pink paint on half her legs are unmarked. They range in height from approx. 7" tall down to 3 3/4" tall. The four dolls on the top row have jointed arms and legs. The little girl holding the dog on the end of that row is not jointed. Four of the dolls on the bottom row have jointed arms. The little girl holding the doll at the end of that row is not jointed. I will describe each one starting with the doll on the top row wearing cloth pants she will be #1 with the other 9 following. #1 Loosely strung, incised, Made in Japan some light soil, some paint loss on her shoe, tiny chip on the top border of her left leg near where she is strung. Will not be seen once you tighten her up. #2 Incised Japan, chip on her right thumb. #3 No marks, loosely strung, chip on her right leg top outer thigh, near where she is strung. Some paint loss on her shoes and a tiny flake off her left shoe. #4 Incised Japan, soiled mostly on his head.
