LOT 207 Seller's Estimate: USD 100 - 300 Collection of Newspapers, Dated 1801 - 1940; Paper Memorabilia - including Indenture Papers, Mortgages, Town Records; & Map of North America on canvas, circa 1960: 1.) Newspapers include Civil War Era papers, The Saturday Evening Post, Concord & Gazette, New York Observer, Pittston Gazette, Philadelphia Gazette, New York Times, Chicago Daily Tribune, and Others. Most famous articles are the 1939-40 WWII Chicago Daily Tribune and 1927 St. Louis Globe Democrat about Charles Lindbergh.; 2.) Paper Memorabilia: Parchemnt Indenture Papers; 1864 Mortgage Paper, 1836 Mortgage, 1872 Mortgage; Cabinet card signed Blatchford Kavanagh (13 year old boy singer); Group of 1800's Records for Newbury Port, Treasurer's receipts; 1901 Snaps Comic, Frank Tousey, Publisher; Four commemorative 1997 magazines featuring Princess Diana, Sept. 8 Newsweek; Sept. 15 Newsweek; Sept. 8 Time; Sept. 15 Time. 3.) Map of North American, paper on canvas circa 1960. Marked, along with other information, Phillip's Comparative Series of Large School Maps. Folded, not rolled, there are grommets to hang it. Dimensions: Largest is 45" x 59" Condition Report: 1.) Many are tattered on the edges. Most are yellowed but readable. 3.) There is some seam separation. Payment: The buyer is responsible for paying the seller directly after winning the item. Details on accepted payment methods and where to send payment are provided in an invoice from the seller. Shipping: The buyer is responsible for paying all shipping costs and arranging for shipping and delivery with the seller. Additional shipping details from the seller: SHIPPING - THAC will pack and ship your items to you. The fee to the buyer will include actual shipping charges, insurance, materials and $20.00 per hour or part there of labor. With a $10.00 minimum per box. THAC will make every effort to ship your items within 30 days of our receipt of full payment and all shipping information. Any successful bidders will have the shipping charges applied to their MasterCard or Visa at the time of shipping. 10. THAC reserves the right to withdraw any lot at any time before the auction without any liabilities. 11. A range of estimates is given on each lot with a low and a high estimate. Estimates should not be relied on as a prediction of the actual selling price. This is an absolute auction and ALL items will sell to the HIGHEST bidder. There are NO reserves. 12. If any applicable conditions herein are not complied with by the purchaser, in addition to other remedies available to it by law, including without limitation the right to hold the purchaser liable for the total purchase price, THAC at its option may either (a) cancel the sale, retaining as liquidated damages all payments made by the purchaser or (b) resell the property at public auction without reserve or minimum selling price, and the purchaser will be liable for any deficiency and costs, including handling charges, expenses of both sales, the commission on both sales at regular rates, all other charges due hereunder and incidental damages. In the event a buyer initiates litigation against THAC for any reason, then buyer agrees to reimburse THAC for reasonable attorney's fees and/or costs incurred in any such action. In the event THAC is required to initiate litigation and/or collection actions against a buyer, then the buyer agrees to reimburse THAC for reasonable attorney fees and/or costs incurred in any such action, and further agrees jurisdiction shall be in Marshall County, Iowa. Any action in regard to this agreement or arising out of its terms and conditions may be instituted and litigated in the Iowa District Court for Marshall County, Iowa. Bidder and/or purchaser consents to the jurisdiction of such court and agrees service of process as provided by the statutes and rules of procedure of Iowa shall be sufficient.
