A handy and valuable reference for dealers and collectors of Royal Albert China, the most popular China collectables in the world. The Guide covers 42 of the major Dinnerware patterns, 45 of the most popular Series patterns, Separate or Unique Cups and Saucers, Mugs, and Giftware sold worldwide. Included are pieces made mostly Circa 1940's - 80's, with some earlier and some more recent offerings. A full color edition with appropriate photos and text. The patterns featured are from the collection of the Author who has collected and researched for over 40 years, including a trip to St Mary's Works in Longton, Stoke on Trent area, the pottery locales of England. As you may be aware, Royal Albert and Royal Doulton, the Parent Company have been sold to Waterford Wedgwood in 2005 and their factories closed in the UK. The more recent items, post 2000 have been outsourced to Asia, a nd the items do not say England on the backstamp/logos. Both companies have been sold again in 2009. Items still being made in Asia.
