The Collectors Showcase Zulu series depicts The Battle of Islawanda - the single greatest defeat of the British army by a colonial force ever. At this battle, Lord Chelmsford's hope of a quick defeat of Cetshwayo's Zulu army was quickly dashed with the annihilation of the 850-plus men of his command. These sets allow for an excellent diorama that captures the horror of 20,000 Zulu natives descending on the vulnerable British column. With superb sculpting and connoisseur painting, these figures seem to come to life and are sure to please even the most demanding collector. 54mm. One figure. Each figure is approximately 4" (10.2 cm) in height. Brand new and includes all original documentation and packaging.
