Measuring about 11" x 14", and 50 pages long, this in the December 17, 1932, issue of the magazine "Collier's - The National Weekly", containing the usual high quality mix of fiction, artwork and general interest articles. Fiction contributors in this issue include Zane Grey, Dwight Mitchell Wiley, Georges Surdez, Katharine Haviland-Taylor, Roark Bradford, and Arthur Somers Roche. It includes part 3 of a four-part article about the rise and fall of electric light tycoon Samuel Insull, who started his career as secretary to Thomas Alva Edison. And a somewhat prophetic - or at least cautionary - article by future British Prime Minister Winston Churchill titled "Defense in the Pacific", which refers mostly to the Philippine Islands. Other non-fiction article topics include wrestling; and housekeeping efficiency. The cover art is by George de Zayas, and other illustrators include Mario Cooper, Harry Burne, Walter C.
