Hello! Please be sure to look at my other auctions! I have many more unusual and experimental model kits an collectibles listed this week! A rare and sought after issue of Colliers magazine. Another copy of this issue sold recently for $107.17 with $12.30 shipping. See auction: 220675026849 Feature story is about a future manned space mission to mars. This is using 1950s technology so they planned on sending a small fleet of spaceships. The early 1950s Colliers space series had a profound impact on human history and the development of our early space program. Many space Scientists, Engineers, Astronomers and even Astronauts have credited the artwork of Chesley Bonestell in publications like Colliers and books like "The Conquest of Space" for inspiring them in their careers choices. Item has some cover wear as seen in photo but still solid very good condition. There is a great deal of renewed interest in these retro designs and images from the past of our possible future in space. In fact some of Dr. Werner Von Braun's early notes and sketches for the Colliers Space series were auctioned off back in 2008. The auction estimate for the notes was $10,000- $25,000 but the price realized was in excess of $120,000 Please see my other auctions for more vintage space related items Thanks for looking and please be sure to visit my read more
