This is a one of a kind hand carved wooden bank. It comes from Canyon City Colorado, and is believed to have been crafted in the Colorado State Prison sometime back in the 1930's. Each side has a hand painted animal along with carved edges. On one of the ends is the word "bank" with multi carvings. The bottom of the bank opens when the screws are removed. This would make a great addition to any folk art collection. This bank measures 5 3/8 long X 2 1/4 wide X 2/14 deep. I prefer paypal, but will take cashier checks or money orders.
