Sales and Shipping In the U.S.A. and Canada Colonial Infantry & Navy WW1 French Adrian Steel Combat Helmet Complete - A Scarce WW1 Period Original - Steel Helmet Condition: Very Good to Near Excellent In & Out With Original WW1 Paint Leather Liner Condition: Relic, But It Seems To At Least Be All T Leather Chinstrap Condition: Very Good But One Old Break & Old Repair Along Side Offering a rarely available original World War One France Model 1915 Adrian Steel Combat Helmet for their Colonial Infantry and also for French Navy. All Paint is Original and I'd describe paint color as a horizon blue to possibly a medium Navy blue color. An Excellent display helmet, but liner has seen better days. Headliner on the inside of the liner is horizon blue color fabric material. Leather Liner shows old patch repairs on the backside. Also, Liner is torn top to bottom along the right side, tfore, Liner is in Relic Condition. No pull throughs on the seven leather liner tabs though. All of the Small round grommets are still in-place on each drawstring tab. Drawstring is missing. Colonial Infantry Anchor front helmet badge looks original to this helmet and badge attachment tabs on inside look good. Both aluminum ventilators on each side of the liner remain in-place. All eight steel attachment tabs for the liner itslelf seem to be t I don't see any markings stamped on the inside of the helmet shell. Liner Size is about a Medium. Two very shallow dents, look more like minor depressions on left side high and towards the back, on the outside of the helmet. Chinstrap is nice and supple but has one old break and old repair along right side near right ear location (should be visible in pictures). Both leather chinstrap connection points on the inner helmet bales, both leather connection points are actually in very good shape. The break occurred forward a bit along the right side. Overall, a nice representative example of this helmet which will display well. Pictures should show things better than I can describe.
