For sale is a Colorado Mule Deer Cape It was harvested in early November 2010 and was caped and frozen then and has been kept that way rolled up with ears and face in the center. I just thawed the cape and tried to take the best measurements I could. I got 20 inches (just below ears) and 23 inches (few inches below first measurement) . The cape has not been fleshed and the ears and lips have not been turned. Everything has been kept frozen and will be shipped that way priority mail.. It might stretch out a little more in width since it was still a little froze when I measured., and that is why it didn't lay real flat for the pictures. When I caped it I tubed one front leg and split up the back of the other, plenty of hide was left behind th shoulders. This is a very nice cape and will make an excellent mount.
