Description: Colorful original oil painting on board of a forest interior. Looks like an Indiana landscape to me, originated from an IN collection. Signed by the artist and dated in the lower left corner. Lots of thickly applied paint producing an interesting texture which gives the picture an alive look. This is a quality painting with a nice look. Would go well with an Arts and Crafts décor. I have been unable to pin down the artist, there are numerous listed Nichols.

Condition: Very good, no holes or tears. Appears to have been recently lightly cleaned,

Frame: period and original to the painting. Frame is in great shape and is ready to hang.
