Offered for auction is this 20th Century handpainted MEISSEN bowl or dish with the underglaze crossed sword blue mark on the bottom. The bowl features a lot of Color and a Centerpiece of a Butterfly. This may be part of a dinnerware set though I can't say for certain. It's a swirly design, edged in Gold. No damage whatsoever. There are those who would call this an Ashtray, and I expect it could be used as one, but don't know if that was the intention when it was created. It stands about 1" high and is 8" across.
