is a gorgeous Caucasian weaving from Gendge region rug. The region of Gendge consists of the center area of the Caucasus Mountains. The present offering is early, perhaps being as old as 120 years. Variety of pattern panning out to cover all available space was characteristic. Awesome memling gull design at different color combinations in great sky blue color field make this rug such a star in dark night. It is gorgeous, colorful and absolutely bold. This truly antique rug is surrounded by wide and also very colorful border at awesome design and color combination.

Very rare and interesting sky Blue, nice natural old green, beautiful red, white, dark blue, nice yellow, gold, light red, dark and light natural brown are colors of this lovely rug. The dyes are all vegetal and 100% natural and powerful. The wool is incredibly soft, shiny and durable. The size of this rug is: 5'x3'-5".

This lovely, rare and colorful Gendge rug is in good condition for its age. It is in short (not worn) pilling all over and ends and selvages are intact. T are some repilling areas which done by excellent museum quality of work. It is a highly desirable and perfect Caucastion collector piece. It is outstanding and absolutely bold.
