You are bidding on an adorable vintage wide mouthed bird toothpick holder! I found this piece at an estate sale along with more vintage toothpick holders, table accessories, and a lot of other interesting items! Check out my other items !
This little bisque bird looks like he is waiting for his mother to feed him! his mouth is wide open and his wings are spread. The bird is made of bisque porcelain, and he is colorfully painted in blue, orange, yellow, rust, and black.
The bird is vintage, but I am not sure how old he is. I am guessing the 1950s. He is marked "Made In Japan".
This piece is 4 1/4" wide by 3 1/4" long by 3 1/4" tall.
T is a 1/16" flake in the black paint on the back of his tail and another one on his foot. Otherwise, he is in good condition!
Please ask questions! I do my best to describe items, but I am not an expert in all areas. Most of my items are vintage. They will naturally show wear from years of use. I describe each item to the best of my ability, but I cannot always detail each flaw. All items are described with honest intent!
