Dark pink Rubellite (red Tourmaline) sliced and highly polished with an acrylic display stand to help show this beautiful specimen. Photos are taken of both sides. From Namibia. Weighs 98 grams. Measures 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) by 2 3/4" (7 cm) wide, by 3/8" (1 cm) deep. This specimen is from an estate sale that belonged to Chuck Simmons in Tucson, AZ. He was very knowledgeable about minerals and (in our opinion) collected the best According to Melody's book, LOVE IS IN THE EARTH, some of the properties found in Rubellite are: " Strengthens the will to understand love and to inspire tactfulness in independence, promoting creativity in the various realms of loving aspirations. It can be used to stimulate the base chakra and to provide for a direct pathway between the base chakra and the heart chakra. It can be used to direct and to intensify devotional proclivities ."
