In good working order. Black forest cuckoo clock known as the elopers clock. At the top of the hour, the left hand door opens, and the cuckoo comes out and calls the hours. The farmer shakes his pitchfork up and down at the young man who is standing at the bottom of the ladder. When the cuckoo is finished calling, the right hand door opens to reveal the farmers daughter. The music box begins to play, and the young man climbs up and down the ladder. Very unique! Cuckoo calls once on the half hour. A very colorful animated Swiss Chalet style cuckoo. The pitchfork is a replacement, and the left fence section has been reglued to the case (picture 5). All else is original. The movement has just been cleaned and serviced, and is running well and keeping good time. Full operating instructions are included. Clock is dated 1968 on the back. Great addition to any room. This model is getting hard to find, and this one is ready to hang!
