You are bidding on a Lot of Heat Treated Flint Ridge Flint. Thatâe(tm)s 20 pounds of Colorful Flint Ridge Flint, all of it heat treated to bring out maximum color, and knappability. Th ere are some nice pieces of Flint Ridge Chacedony in this lot, a material very hard to come by in sizes large enough to get sizable points from. Flint Ridge contains quarry pits w the ancient people of Ohio came to get flint for both tools and weapons. The flint was a trade item for many of these people, and was especially prized by the Hopewell and Adena Cultures for its quality and beauty. Once you see this material weâe(tm)re sure you will agree. We have acquired a Limited quantity of this material and are selling it for those of you who are not fortunate enough to live within range of Flint Ridge. This Flint can be used for Knapping or cabbing, and many pieces will take a high polish. The material in this lot varies in size from 2âe in length up to 6âe. These pieces were hand selected for size and shape. This flint would be great for the novice, or experienced knapper. Flint Ridge Material is always a rare find on e-bay or elsew, and usually goes very quickly.
