This beautifully constructed and painted Fun Fish Sun Fish Platter will bring the long, lazy days of summer at the beach back to you whether you use it as a decorator piece or a serving dish. The bright, happy colors of blue, yellow, aqua, red, white, and black smile at you off the plump fish shaped platter to remind you of the tropical fish of the Seven Seas. Estate find, unsure of the age of this piece. The name of the maker is somewhat smudged and not completely legible (looks like it starts with LA) but Italy is clearly visible. If anyone is familiar with this piece and knows the maker, please share it with us. A paint drip on the back side and the brush strokes seems to indicate the platter may have been hand painted. NO chips or cracks found. There are small white spots in the colored areas that may look like chips, but they are not...they are just imperfections in the painting process. This platter is 15.5" long and 13" wide. It weighs just under 4 pounds. It is a bright, happy piece well worth owning. Please contact us if you have ANY QUESTIONS, we will be happy to help you. !
