Colt 1895 Potato Digger Wooden Ammo Box This is a wooden ammo box for the 1895 Colt Potato Digger machine gun.This is the smaller box with the spacer inside to even out the ammo. The smaller box held one 120 round belt and was used with the Colt gun prior to the 250 round belt and box for the Marlin came into production.Box is in good condition but has been around for 100 years and has the normal bumps and bruises. The box also has a very repairable crack along the top rear. (see pictures).
