COLUMBIA 5 STAR SUPERB This top of the line 1950s Columbia bicycle is offered as is. It is mostly complete except for the rear light and horn. The seat needs to be recovered and the old tires are surely flat. This cool bike has an early front suspension system and front drum brakes. The luggage rack is in good shape. Mechanically it seems in good shape. At least the pedals turn and the wheel moves. The brakes also work. All of the brakes, chain, cables may need some adjustment or work. This bike has not been in use for a long while! The finish is dull, worn and t is some surface rust. We will try to give enough pictures to help condition concerns but please ask before you bid! If you have trouble with the pictures try using the reload or refresh button on your browser. It has 26 inch tires. Overall it is 70 inches long. The handle bars are 27 ½ inches wide. It is 31 inches from the floor to the cross bar under the seat. This cool bike has an early front suspension system and front drum brakes. The rear fender does have some dents. Unusual front brake system. New Departure Model D Rear hub and brake. The rear light is out but the luggage rack and chain guard sheet metal are in good shape. The seat needs to be recovered.
