Original Columbia Graphophone base. Untouched base with seal on bottom indicating was sold on April 20, 1914 by W. H. Sajewski of Chicago, Illinois. Located by decal on front of machine is also a brass plate or tag, stating Sajewski date of sale. Sajewski was a retail store selling musical instruments and photographic supplies. The finish on the oak case is original. Motor works fine, and turns at a consistently even speed, and has a shut-off. Felt on disc (w record sits) needs to be replaced.
