COLUMBIA Graphophone Model " B E " Phonograph, 1906 Early Serial number ---- 318 Columbia " Lyric " reproducer with sapphire stylus for playing 2 minute cylinders Cosmetically in superb condition as can be seen in the pictures. Serpentine - moulded oak cabinet and domed cover , Decorated black japanned , and nickel - plated mechanism powered by a strong triple - spring motor. Original winding crank handle. Aluminium " Witches Hat " style horn Some minor ' wear and tear ' here and there as to be expected , but generally in great original condition, as can be seen in the pictures The phonograph operates beautifully with very little noise from the motor. The leather driving belt is not the original , and it probably could do with a better replacement , as being slightly under-width, it tends to come off the bottom pulley occasionally. Rare opportunity to acquire an unusual model of phonograph This is a heavy machine !!
